Certified Translation of Educational Documents & Diplomas
Whether you are applying for a degree program at a Polish university, seeking to validate your professional qualifications, or finalizing an employment contract in Warsaw, your educational documents must be legally recognized. I provide sworn translations of diplomas, transcripts, and certificates for a wide range of purposes, including university admissions, HR background checks, and formal nostrification—the process of certifying a foreign degree as equivalent to a Polish one.
These translations are also essential for procedures involving NAWA (The National Agency for Academic Exchange) and other administrative bodies that oversee the recognition of international education.
Important: Translation vs. Nostrification
It is important to note that a sworn translation is not the same as nostrification. While I provide the certified legal document required for the process, the actual recognition of your degree’s equivalence is a separate administrative or academic procedure handled by a university or a government body. My role is to ensure your documents are prepared in accordance with the Sworn Translator’s Code and specific NAWA guidelines.
- Degree Titles: I do not “translate” or create Polish equivalents for your academic titles (e.g., I leave “Master of Arts” or “Bachelor of Science” in the original language) as determining their Polish equivalent is the exclusive role of the nostrifying institution.
- Names of Universities & Schools: The name of the issuing institution remains in its original form to ensure it matches the database of recognized global entities.
